Child and Family Psychology is a company based in Long Island, New York, comprised of psychologists who specialize in working with children. We are a caring and dedicated staff whose mission is to help children in need of psychological assistance. We are passionate about our work with children and are willing to go the extra mile for a child and their family. It is for this reason that our work sometimes takes us on the road, to playgrounds, schools, homes and CSE meetings. That is how we initially earned the name "Psychologist on Wheels," as we go to the places that kids need us the most!
Our Business
Psychologist on Wheels PC was founded by Dr. Renee Clauselle. The New York company began as a small private practice conducting home visits through early intervention and several local school districts in Long Island and Queens, working with educational attorneys on special education issues, and conducting psychotherapy.
The Long Island company quickly grew, as parents began requesting "Dr. Renee" to work with their children. As the company grew, we changed our name to Child and Family Psychology and settled in to our main office in Franklin Square, New York.
We believe that the success of the company and our doctors and child psychologists is due to three tenets on which Dr. Renee Clauselle has built her private practice:

2. We use evidence-based treatments.
3. We are passionate about helping every child do their personal best.

Who We Are
Dr. Renee Clauselle, Founder, Psychologist
Dr. Renee Clauselle is a practicing child psychologist and founder of Child and Family Psychology, formerly called Psychologist on Wheels PC. She is also the Director of School Mental Health Services at St. John's University, and has served as an adjunct faculty member at both St. John's University and Teacher's College, Columbia University. Dr. Clauselle frequently has speaking engagements throughout New York City and Long Island and serves as a Distinguished Faculty Member for Lorman Educational Services, where she has spoken on Autism Spectrum Disorders, Discipline, and Special Education. The children she works with conveniently call her "Dr. Renee."
